Abstract:
Die Reisezeit pro Person und Tag ist über die Jahrzehnte nahezu gleich geblieben (Reisegesetz von LILL, 1889).<br />Eine Verlagerung der Fortbewegung hat, von ursprünglich fußläufigen oder mit dem Rad zurückgelegten Wegen, auf den motorisierten Verkehr (KNOFLACHER, 2007) S.223 stattgefunden.<br />Der Grund für diese Verlagerung findet sich im Mobilitätsverhalten des Menschen. Je nach Lebensabschnitt ändern sich die Anforderungen an die Umgebung und damit oft auch der Wohnort. Die Strukturen unserer Siedlungen wandeln sich von Orten der "kurzen Wege" in Richtung Funktionstrennung , was lange Wege zur Folge hat.<br />Diese Funktionstrennung wird durch die steigende Geschwindigkeit der motorisierten Fortbewegung ermöglicht. Größere Distanzen können innerhalb des immer gleichen Mobilitätszeitbudgets überwunden werden.<br />Die Anzahl der Wege bleibt im Schnitt immer gleich (HAUGER, 2003) S.125.<br /> Legt man dem Verhalten des Menschen den Energieaufwand für die einzelnen Tätigkeiten zugrunde scheiden, bei den heutigen Siedlungsstrukturen, das Zufußgehen sowie das Radfahren aus. Was bleibt ist der öffentliche Personenverkehr sowie der motorisierte Individualverkehr.<br />Die im Rahmen dieser Arbeit durchgeführte Feldstudie bezieht sich auf die Routenwahl von Fußgängern in Bahnhöfen. Im ersten Teil wurde untersucht, welche Steighilfen zur Überwindung von Höhenunterschieden bevorzugt wurden.<br />Die Rolltreppe stellt die energetisch günstigste Art der Höhenüberwindung dar und wurde von um die achtzig Prozent der beobachteten Personen gewählt. Änderungen der Präferenz wurde in Zeiten besonders hoher Personendichten beobachtet.<br />Der zweite Teil der Feldstudie beinhaltet eine Befragung mit Beobachtung. Aus diesem Teil ergaben sich zwei Informationen, die des tatsächlichen Routenwahlverhaltens sowie ein hypothetisches Verhalten.<br />Das hypothetische Verhalten leitet sich aus der Angabe der Routenwahl von gezeigten Videos ab.<br />Eine Verbindung des tatsächlichen Routenverhaltens der Befragten mit den Angaben aus den Fragebögen konnte nur in Bezug auf die Anzahl der vor ihnen Wartenden festgestellt werden. Dies unterstützt die Theorie, dass das tatsächliche Verhalten vom Energieumsatz bestimmt wird. Während das tatsächliche Verhalten von Alter, Bildung und Geschlecht unbeeinflusst bleibt ist im hypothetischen Verhalten ein Zusammenhang feststellbar.<br />Die Theorie des Energieumsatzes als Grundlage menschlichen Verhaltens geht davon aus, dass dieses Verhalten der Menschen in einer sehr tiefen (unbewussten) Evolutionsschicht verankert ist. Ein abweichendes Verhalten ist nur durch bewusstes Gegensteuern möglich.<br />Das Routenwahlverhalten ohne Rücksicht auf demographische Merkmale spiegelt diese Theorie wieder. Ebenso wie das hypothetische Verhalten neuere Evolutionsschichten wie Rationalität und kulturelle Prägung widerspiegelt.<br />
