In the first part of this work the reactivity of the neutral DMF-Intermediate RuTp(PR3)(DMF)Cl against terminal alkynes, propargylic alcohols and [omega]-aliynols was investigated. Vinylidene, allenylidene and cyclic oxycarbe complexes were obtained as products. The neutral allenylidenes turned out to be inreactive against nucleophilic attack, but reacted with trifluor acetic acid to give he Vinyl-carbynes [RuTp(PR3)(=C-CH=CR')]+ (R = PPh2Pri, PPh3; R' = Ph, Fc). Another objective of this work was the synthesis of novel ruthenium Tp-precursors suitable for the synthesis of hydride complexes under mild conditions. The Ru(III) complexes RuTp(PR3)Cl2 (R = PPh3, PPh2Pri, PPri3, PCy3) were obtained in good yields and they were used as precursors for the synthesis of RuTp(PR3)(H2)H. In the second part of this work novel neutral and cationic Cp- and Tp-precursors containing phosphinoamine ligands were synthesised and their reactivity against terminal alkynes, propargylic alcohols and [omega]-alkynols was tested.
Reaction of RuCp(Ph2PNHR)(CH3CN)2]+ (R = Ph, But, Prn) bzw.
[RuCp(Ph2PNR2)(CH3CN)2]+ (R = Et, C5H10) with alkynes and diynes give different products depending on the sterical and electronical properties of the amino functionality. [RuCp(Ph2PNHPh)(CH3CN)2]+ with an aromatic amine group reacts with alkynes and diynes to give [eta]4-Butadien-Amidocomplexes of the type [RuCp([eta]4-C4H3(R)-PPh2-[kappa]1-(N)-NPh)]PF6. The reaction of the phosphinoaminecomplexes containing aliphatic amines with alkynes gave no reaction whereas with diynes [eta]3-Phosphaallyl-[eta]2-Enamin-Komplexe of the type [RuCp([eta]3-(P,C,C)-PPh2CH=C-(CH2)n-[eta]1-(C)-C=CH-NR2)]+ were isolated. These kinetic products rearrange at elevated temperature to give the thermodynamically more stable [eta]1-Phosphallyl-[eta]3-Azaallyl-complexes of the type [RuCp([eta]1-(P)-PPh2CH=C-(CH2)n-[eta]3-(C,C,N)-C=CH-NR2)]+. Reaction of the neutral Cp-bisphosphin-complexes with alkynes in the presence of silver salts aza-phospha-carbene-complexes of the type [RuCp(2(C,P)=C(CH2R')N(R)PPh2)(1(P)-PPh2NHR)]+ (R= Ph, Prn) were obtained by the nucleophilic attack of the amine moity to the carbine carbon. The reaction of the Tp-Complexes gave the allenylidene complexes in all cases. By heating it could be converted into the vinyl-aza-phospha-carbene-complex [RuTp(2(C,P)=C(CH=CPh2)N(Prn)PPh2)(1(P)-PPh2NHPrn)]+.
