dc.description.abstract
We present a toolbox to shape the spectral content of terahertz (THz) frequency combs almost arbitrary. Our method merges the well-established technologies of electro-optic (EO) frequency comb generation in the near-infrared and difference frequency conversion (photomixing) to the THz range. The utilization of multiple EO modulators opens a huge parametric space for the comb spectral design and the fiber integration of the optical system provides robust operation and straight-forward handling.
