Im Jahr 2020 stehen die Menschen in der Mitte eines unendlichen Wachstums. Es gib eine Prämisse, an den alle Nationen festhalten: Der Mensch ist das Maß aller Dinge, nichts und niemand kann ihn aufhalten.... Die Menschheit hat sich wahrscheinlich gedacht: Wer oder was kann uns aufhalten? Am Ende ist ein Welt voll mit Objekte, soziale Verbindungen und mehr oder weniger gerechte Gesetze entstanden. Zu viel Geld, Information, Kleidung, Nahrung... zu viele Angebote, viel zu viel von Allem. Ein totaler Überfluss. Plötzlich, sowohl die unkontrollierbaren Handlungen der Menschheit als auch der Planet Erde, die wir zerstört haben, zahlen uns mit dem Coronavirus zurück. Man könnte quasi sagen, dass unsere EU-Gesellschaft durch dieser Coronakrise bemerkt hat was uns fehlt, nämlich der Bezug zum Ursprung, welcher bei unserem unendlichen Wachsen verloren haben. Somit wurde ich sagen, dass der Mensch durch ihre agieren sich mehr für die Natur und der Umwelt kümmern soll. In diese Idee gehört dazu auch unsere gegenwärtiges und zukünftige Art zu leben und wie wir unseres Zuhause bauen. Nun wenn wir zurück blicken auf jeglichen vergangenen Arten von Bauten, bieten sowohl die Festung als auch das Schloss oder der Palast eine Art von Leben in Verbundenheit mit der Natur an. Sie etablierten die Rahmen für eine menschliches Leben in kleinen Gesellschaften, die autonom existierten und autark waren. Daher will ich mit meine Diplomarbeit eine moderne Form des „altertümliches“ und architektonisches Komplexes präsentieren, die sich in eine Stadt einschließen lässt. Diese Bau sollte einen Stadtteil bzw. ein Bauwerk, das sowohl als einzeln zu betrachten, als auch als Teil dieser übergeordneten Stadt ist, die aber auch gleichzeitig so vieles anbieten kann, wie man zum Leben braucht. Das ganze Konzept habe ich u.a. abgeleitet aus die folgenden Baureferenzen: Die Abtei Saint-Riquier in Centula, dem heutigen St-Riquier aus dem Jahr 1612, die Laxenburg bzw. Franzenburg, Rigel Jäger, der Burg Stolzents in Koblenz von Karl Friedrich Schinkel, verschiedene Earthship-Biotecture von Taos in New Mexico, einige Abbildungen von der Fortbildungsakademie Mont-Cenis Sodingen und Projekte von Frank Lloyd Wright. Bei dieses Bauwerk handelt es sich um eine „Mehrzweckburg“, die ich aufgrund zwei verschiedene Gründe „The Host Hill“ genannt habe. Ersten, da es sowohl als Wohnort wie auch als Gasthaus dienen kann und zweitens, weil es sich auf einen Anhöhe befindet. Diese architektonische Komplex bzw. „Mehrzweckburg“ soll die zwei notwendigsten Aspekte der Leben des Menschen erfüllen. Ersten die grundlegenden und alltäglichen Aspekte der Bewohner ermöglichen, d.h. Wasserversorgung, Wärmeversorgung, Energieversorgung und Nahrungsversorgung durch das landwirtschaftlichen Möglichkeiten des Komplexes. Dazu hat das Gebäude ein kleines Geschäft und ein Büro. Zweitens bittet diesen Komplex die Gesellschaft ein Ort wo sie das menschlichen sozialen Bedürfnisse abdecken können. Diese zweite Aspekt betrifft also das Zweck diesen „Mehrzweckburg“ auch als Empfangsort zu betrachten. Es sollte ein Ort sein, wo die Menschen Zuflucht vor ihren Sorgen oder Problemen suchen können. Deswegen sind einige Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt werden können, damit die Gäste erholsam in Mitten der Natur weilen. Zusätzlich sind Seminarräume in der Gebäude integriert, sowie ein kleine Spa, ein Restaurant und einem Hof, mit eine Bühne. Das ganze Komplex gestattet die Durchführung größere Veranstaltungen, wie z.B. Bälle, Hochzeiten, Tagungen, Konzerte, Theater und Kino. Abschließend, lässt sich sagen, dass der „Mehrzweckburg“ einen neuen Lebensart in der Natur mit Kultur bietet.
