dc.description.abstract
During the last 20 years various problems related to cutting trees have been studied by probabilistic or analytic combinatorics techniques. By extending the recursive approach, we reconsider some of such problems, as k-cutting of paths/trees, isolating multiple nodes in trees, and notions of records in trees, yielding old and adding some new results.
