The stability of a vehicle’s driving state depends on the mechanical properties of the vehicle and the road conditions, but to a large amount also on the characteristics of the human driver. The aim of this talk is to study the influence of the driver’s reaction on the stability of the steady motion, which for constant control input is asymptotically stable.
