Viele Eigenschaften von Holz sind abhängig von dessen Feuchtigkeitsgehalt, weswegen dieser beider Modellierung des mechanischen Verhaltens berücksichtigt werden muss. Außerdem werden aufgrund von Holzfeuchtigkeitsdifferenzen Spannungen induziert, die zu Rissen führen können.Um dieses Verhalten für das Gebiet Österreich quantifizieren zu können, werden in dieser Diplomarbeit numerische Simulationen auf Grundlage eines am Institut für Mechanik der Werkstoffe und Strukturen entwickelten Modells für den Feuchte- und Energietransport durchgeführt.Untersucht werden drei Vollholzquerschnitte bzw. drei Brettschichtholzquerschnitte beansprucht mittels einer Luftfeuchtigkeits- und Temperaturbelastung von 39 unterschiedlichen Standorten,um den Einfluss des ortsabhängigen Klimas auf Querschnitte mit unterschiedlichen Abmessungen zu analysieren.Die Untersuchung des Holzfeuchtigkeitsverhaltens beinhaltet auch die Analyse der über den Querschnitt gemittelten Holzfeuchtigkeit, die für die Einteilung in Nutzungsklassen gemäß ÖNORMEN 1995-1-1 [2019] erforderlich ist. Dabei geht hervor, dass die mittlere Holzfeuchtigkeit vom Ort sowie von der Querschnittsbreite abhängig ist und damit die Zuordnung beeinflusst.Während Querschnitte im Außenklima mit einer größeren Querschnittsbreite als 16 cm in ganz Österreich nur Nutzungsklasse 2 zuzuordnen sind, kann es bei kleineren Querschnitten regional erforderlich sein Nutzungsklasse 3 zuzuweisen, wodurch sich die rechnerisch ansetzbare Widerstandsfähigkeit reduziert. Dieser Fall tritt unter anderem stets bei Orten in einer Lage über 1500 m Seehöhe sowie in der Gegend um Rohrbach auf.Neben der Analyse der über den Querschnitt gemittelten Holzfeuchtigkeit wurden auch die Holzfeuchtigkeitsdifferenzen zwischen der Oberfläche und der Querschnittsmitte sowie der maximalen Amplituden der Holzfeuchtigkeit in Österreich untersucht. Die Maxima der Holzfeuchtigkeitsdifferenzen sowie der Amplituden treten bei Standorten über 1500 m Seehöhe auf.Außerdem erfolgt ein Vergleich der Simulationsergebnisse mit dem Normenentwurf für Holz-Beton-Verbundtragwerke CEN/EN250/SC 5 [2020]. In diesem Entwurf werden unter anderem die jährlichen Amplituden der über die Querschnittsbreite gemittelten Holzfeuchtigkeit in verschiedenen Klimaregionen vorgegeben. Der Vergleich mit den in dieser Arbeit ermittelten Werten hat ergeben, dass die Angaben in der CEN/EN250/SC 5 [2020] über den Werten der Simulationen liegen, wobei vor allem Querschnitte mit geringerer Querschnittsbreite überschätzt werden. Dabei wurde auch festgestellt, dass die über die Querschnittsbreite gemittelte Holzfeuchtigkeit mitder Holzfeuchtigkeit in einer Tiefe von 18,75 % der Querschnittsbreite mit Abweichungen von maximal 0,85 % Holzfeuchtigkeit beschrieben werden kann.Zusätzlich zu den Feuchtesimulationen wurden auch Risssimulationen für zwei Vollholzquerschnitte und einen Brettschichtholzquerschnitt durchgeführt, die die Auswirkung der initialenrelativen Luftfeuchtigkeit auf die Rissbildung in Abhängigkeit von den Querschnittsabmessungen und der Holzfeuchtigkeitsdifferenzen verdeutlichen, da sie die Risslänge und die Dauer des Rissprozesses beeinflusst. Werden die Ergebnisse mit denen der Holzfeuchtigkeit verknüpft, ist die höchste Risswahrscheinlichkeit an Standorten in Lagen über 1500 m Seehöhe im November und Dezember festzustellen.Mit den hier vorgestellten Simulationen kann das ortsabhängige Verhalten der gemittelten Holzfeuchtigkeit und das der Amplituden sowie das der holzfeuchtigkeitsabhängigen Rissbildung gezeigt werden. Außerdem wird der Einfluss der Seehöhe auf die Holzfeuchtigkeit verdeutlicht.
