Trend in automotive is since some years to transfer engineering activities partially or complete from Western European countries to low cost countries like Eastern Europe. Aim is to decrease the compartment of expenses for sales, general, administrative and engineering (SGA&E) on the overall costs. This thesis investigates the business conditions within Central Europe, especially Poland. Although this master thesis is strongly focused to financial matter, the strategic boundary conditions will be outlined as well.
