Interkommunale Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten am Beispiel von Betriebsgebieten

Abstract

This thesis covers the concept of intercommunal cooperations in Austria. For the research process, which is based on the use of relevant literature, interviews and the presentation of best practice examples, three main questions are to consider. To answer the first question a closer look on the basic principles of the community itself was taken.<br />The general explanation of the concept of a community in Austria considering the financing and a general given overview about responsibilities and duties is given accompanied by the discussion of classical spatial planning instruments, the changing of the demographic structure in rather disperse regions also considering the topic of globalization and the general change of land use.To answer the second question the many possibilities of intercommunal cooperations and their general basic structures with a focus on their organization and financing structure are shown. The instruments of intercommunal cooperations are shown as well as how this bothers business parks and the development of business parks in the context of real estate aspects.<br />To answer the last question narrative interviews were used and best practice examples in different states of Austria were shown.
