Wie bei jedem innovativen Unternehmen gibt es auch beim Leuchtenhersteller Zumtobel einen Entwicklungsprozess für Neuprodukte.<br />Für diesen Prozess ist allerdings eine Überarbeitung aus folgendem Grund erforderlich: Die Entwicklung findet autonom an vier verschiedenen Standorten statt. Überall wird der an sich gleiche Prozess verschieden gelebt und entsprechend auf unterschiedliche Art und Weise dokumentiert, was in weiterer Folge zu einer schwierigen Vergleichbarkeit der Neuproduktentwicklungsprojekte führt.<br />Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es nun, den Prozess und die dazugehörige Dokumentation so zu entwickeln bzw. zu überarbeiten, dass er zum Einem den Anforderungen, die an einen solchen Prozess gestellt werden gerecht wird (Stichwort: Zertifizierung) und zum Anderem auch einheitlich an den Entwicklungsstandorten implementiert werden kann.<br />Der alte und neue Prozess sowie die entsprechenden Dokumentationen werden in der Arbeit ausführlich dargestellt und die Verbesserungspotentiale beschrieben. Abschließend sollen noch spätere Aufgaben, die über diese Arbeit hinausgehen, erwähnt und im Anhang erste Umsetzungen gezeigt werden.<br />Um nun das gewünschte Ziel zu erreichen, erfordert es ein methodisches Vorgehen. Dazu bietet sich die DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve und Control) Methode an.<br />

At the lighting manufacturer Zumtobel there exists as in other innovative companies a development process. For this process, however, a revision is necessary because of the following reason: The development takes place independently in four different locations. On all the development sites the same process is executed differently and documented in different ways. This is leading subsequently to a difficult comparison of the new product development projects.<br />The aim of this master thesis is to develop and re-engineer respectively a process and a related documentation. The new process should meet the requirements that are set on such a process (keyword: certification).<br />Furthermore the new process should be designed in the way, that it is possible to implement the process consistent to the development sites.<br />The old and new process as well as the corresponding documentations will be shown in this diploma thesis. Also the potential for improvement will be described. Finally, later tasks that go beyond the work will be mentioned and first reactions are shown in the appendix.<br />In order to achieve the desired goal, it requires a methodical approach.<br />For this case the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) method is very useful.<br />
