„Yéena Comom“ – „Für alle“ in der senegalesischen Nationalsprache Wolof. Diese Diplomarbeit zeigt den Planungsprozess eines Projektes, welches durch Eigeninitiative entstanden ist. Aus einer ursprünglichen Idee entstehen konkrete Gedanken. Ein verfallener Sportplatz in Dakar soll mit großzügiger Überdachung als Sonnenschutz und anderen Funktionen renoviert werden. Außerdem soll das Feld als neuer Treffpunkt der Gemeinde dienen und so auch eine große soziale Funktion erfüllen. Einer kurzen Vorstellung über das Land folgt die Darstellung der Analysereise in den Senegal. Sie zeigt lokale Gegebenheiten und Anforderungen, die das Projekt beeinflussen. Ein großer Wert wird vor allem der Zusammenarbeit mit Anwohnern und dem aktuellen Stand der Technik beigemessen.Im Fokus der Arbeit steht der Bezug zur Praxis. Ziel ist es, eine Grundlage zu schaffen, um später die Realisierung dieses sozialen Projektes zu ermöglichen.

Yéena Comom” - “For everyone” in the Senegalese national language Wolof. This diploma thesis shows the planning process of a project that arose through personal initiative. Concrete thoughts have emerged from an original idea: A degenerated sports field in Dakar is to be renovated, given new life. It shall include a spacious roof which offers protection from the sun and further beneficial elements that will be elaborated on. The field is thought to be elevated to a new meeting point for the community and thus significantly impacting social exchanges and gatherings. After a brief description of the country this thesis focuses on the thorough analysis of a trip to Senegal. It therefore depicts local conditions and requirements which fundamentally influence the project. Above all, working with not only the local people but also the local available technologies of the country itself, are of utmost importance. The main focus of the work is the relation to reality which leads to the ultimate goal being the possibility of realizing the project in the near future.
