dc.description.abstract

dc.description.abstract
The object of the work is the consideration of streets, which represent places that generate and activate stay and informal learning processes. Streets serve as a continuation and form above all the everyday spaces of social, polite and individual expression. Actions such as car park occupations, critical mass, but also increased planning of zones for pedestrians show the demand for more street space for people. The basis for answering the research questions is the development of the importance, function and use of the street space, the historical development as well as the development of concise qualities for the stay and opening of learning possibilities. The aim of this work is, in form of literature research, observations and in form of a designing experiment, to analyse an interaction of possibilities, that understands the atmosphere, well-being, emotion as a part of spatial production and space perception and offers a space for people that concurs them in active participation and confrontation. The interventions for the generation of a certain street space quality are by no means fundamental solutions, but try to form levels, under which a place can be examined, in order to be able to react to a planning.
