The front-end achievements in femtosecond laser technology allowed breakthroughs in many fields of science and technology. The ultra-intense ultrashort light pulses offer new horizons for exploring fundamental physical phenomena, producing ultraprecise measurements, and making discoveries in astrophysics, quantum electrodynamics, and relativistic physics [1,2]. The prospective compact high-intensity mid-IR lasers providing such a breakthrough would be based on a smart symbiosis of chirped-pulse oscillator (CPO) & chirped-pulse amplifier (CPA) technology [2,3].
