Bodenlose Architektur - Ein multifunktionales Gebäude auf der Floridsdorfer Brücke in Wien

Abstract

Die folgende Diplomarbeit befasst sich mit dem Entwurf eines multifunktionalen Gebäudes auf dem Floridsdorfer Brücke in Wien, Österreich.Das konstante Bevölkerungswachstum erhöht das Bedarf an Lebensraum und Infrastruktur, aber unser Welt hat auch ihre Grenze: das Naturraum, was wir für die Wohlleben der Menschheit opfern und die Menge an Bodenversiegelung wurde kritisch geworden. Durch die Benutzung eines schon bestehende Struktur in der Stadt wird eine Verdichtung ohne Bodenversiegelung ermöglicht. Das Projekt zeigt die Erweiterung der Einzelfunktion einer Brücke als Verkehrsfläche, zu einem multifunktionalen Ort im Stadt: Wohnen, Arbeiten, Einkaufen, und Erholen.

The following diploma thesis deals with the design of a multifunctional building on the Floridsdorf Brücke in Vienna, Austria. The constant population growth increases the need for living space and infrastructure, but our world also has its limit: the natural space we sacrifice for the well-being of mankind and the amount of soil sealing has become critical. By using an already existing structure in the city, densification without soil sealing is made possible. The project shows the extension of the single function of a bridge as a traffic area, to a multifunctional place in the city: living, working, shopping, and recreation.
