Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) is gaining increasingly widespread popularity in the Social Sciences and beyond. The goal of this talk is to provide a tutorial-like overview of the method by covering both, basics and important aspects of application in practice. It will cover aspects such as measurement model specification, steps of estimation, and consistent PLS-SEM. Select issues in successfully applying PLS-SEM in practice will include sample size considerations, mediation and moderation effects, and heterogeneity analyses.
