dc.description.abstract
We show that in a Floquet scattering setup the scattering matrix indeed fulfills a generalized unitary condition, although energy is not conserved. To emphasize the implication of this result, we present how optimal spatio-temporal lightfields for focusing and micromanipulation can be found using the Floquet scattering matrix.
