he presentation focuses on the research project BIMFlexi, which aimed to integrate production and building planning processes into one holistic generative design platform for early-stage optimization of factories. The presentation showcases the transition from an award-winning research project to the spin-off factorymaker. factorymaker, an innovative startup from TU Wien, develops generative AI solutions for sustainable and efficient industrial buildings and production processes. Factorymaker's solutions enable rapid, informed decisions through comprehensive variant studies, creating solutions that harmonize sustainability, flexibility, and cost-efficiency.
