We are interested in the "geometry at infinity" of surfaces
and, in particular, of linear Weingarten surfaces in hyperbolic 3-space:
in this talk, we shall discuss the intersection angle of a linear Weingarten
surface with the infinity boundary as an example.
This is a report on joint work in progress with
S Bentrifa, M Kokubu and D Polly.
