The lecture will include the characterization techniques used to study SACs at the atomic level, insights into the interaction between single atoms and support materials, and the impact of these interactions on catalytic activity. The use of these surface science approaches provide a deeper understanding of the mechanisms driving SAC performance, offering pathways for the rational design of next-generation catalysts.
