dc.description.abstract
In this talk we study an Eikonal-like equation in which the norm of the derivative is replaced by the global slope of the function. We discuss existence of solutions, uniqueness, stability and an ergodic approximation.
Finally, we deduce a new representation formula for lower semicontinuous functions, defined on complete metric spaces, in terms of their global slope. This is a joint work with T.M. Lê.
