Abstract:
This article explores architecture as a continuous process of adaptation and transformation, responding dynamically to an ever-changing context and the evolving demands of its users. It argues that architectural design, rather than striving to control fixed configurations, can derive greater value from creating open environments—spaces that accommodate both anticipated and unforeseen changes. By fostering flexibility and resilience, architecture can establish robust frameworks that support a diverse range of human activities, evolving organically alongside societal and environmental shifts.
