Abstract:
Organizations navigating the complexities of modern business are increasingly turning to agile methodologies, particularly in IT, as they seek to build lasting adaptability. This research delves into the nuanced challenges and opportunities of embedding agile practices, focusing on the profound cultural transformation necessary for meaningful, sustained agility. It explores the role of leadership, organizational structures, and fostering a flexible, adaptive mindset throughout the workforce to counter resistance to change and outdated hierarchical models. A key takeaway is the importance of blending top-down strategic alignment with bottom-up innovation to integrate agile into the organization’s core truly. Aligning these practices with broader corporate goals while building a culture centered on trust, transparent communication, employee empowerment, psychological safety, and collaboration is crucial. Ultimately, the study highlights that success in agile transformation is driven less by processes and more by human factors and cultural evolution.
