dc.description.abstract
Batteries in single phase DC/AC converters can be subject to second harmonic currents. This work examines the difference in battery round trip efficiency due to these currents, by calculation, simulation and physical measurements with batteries. Furthermore, batteries have been aged 1000 cycles of DC and DC+AC current to show no significant difference in aging.
