Destination Istria : a guesthouse in Jesenovik

Abstract

Die vorliegende Diplomarbeit befasst sich mit der Entwicklung und Gestaltung eines Ortes der Ruhe und Gemeinschaft in Jesenovik, Istrien. Jesenovik liegt am Rande des Naturpark Ucka-Gebirge. Das Projekt soll städtischen Bewohnern einen stressfreien und ruhigen Ort in der Natur schaffen, der zur Entspannung einlädt. Ein Großteil der Arbeit ist die Analyse und Rekonstruktion der Bestandsgebäude. Da keine Pläne vorhanden sind. Die zentralen Gestaltungspunkte des Resorts sind das wachsen vom Klein zum Großen- von der kleinen Hütte zum Gemeinschaftsgebäude und die gemeinschaftliche Nutzung der Anlage. Das Projekt soll das Miteinander fördern und durch die abgelegene Lage am Naturschutzgebiet zum in sich kehren einladen. Das Projekt besteht aus vier Bestandsgebäude - zwei kleine Hütten, einem Wohnhaus und einem großen Hofgebäude. Dieser Bestand wird saniert, renoviert, modernisiert und umfunktioniert. Jedoch soll nicht zu viel in den Bestand eingegriffen werden. Der Besucher soll hier zur Ruhe kommen und Kraft schöpfen. Plätze in der Natur sollen zum bewussten Bewegen einladen. Das Essen wird selbst zubereitet und dazu kann das am Grundstück angebaute Obst und Gemüse verwendet werden. Das Zentrum besteht aus privaten Zimmern, kleinen Privaten Schlafhütten, Gemeinschafts Küchen, Rehabilitations-und Behandlungsbereich sowie Yoga- und Entspannungsbereiche. Der Ort soll den Besucher wieder in den Einklang mit sich und der Natur bringen.

This thesis focuses on the development and design of a place for rest and community in Jesenovik, Istria. Jesenovik is located on the edge of the Ucka Mountain Nature Park.The project aims to create a stress-free and peaceful place in nature for urban residents, inviting them to relax. A large part of the work involves analyzing and reconstructing the existing buildings, as no plans are available. The central design principles of the resort are the growth from small to large – from a small hut to the community building – and the communal use of the facility. The project aims to foster togetherness and, due to its remote location within the nature reserve, invites visitors to introspection.The project consists of four existing buildings – two small huts, a residential house, and a large courtyard building. These structures will be renovated, restored, modernized, and repurposed. However, minimal intervention in the existing buildings is intended.The visitor should come here to rest and recharge. Spaces in nature should encourage mindful movement. The food is prepared on-site, using fruits and vegetables grown on the property.The center consists of private rooms, small private sleeping huts, communal kitchens, rehabilitation and treatment areas, as well as yoga and relaxation zones. The place is designed to bring the visitor back into harmony with themselves and nature.
