dc.description.abstract
The circular economy, a system-wide concept, is imperative for climate-friendly resource consumption in the construction sector. The European Union is currently revising its legislation and enacting new laws to achieve targeted emission reductions. In this context, the impact of using concrete in hybrid constructions is crucial to examine. Various research projects have been initiated to identify and evaluate new ways to use concrete more efficiently in a circular manner.
The examined materialization is founded on modern production and application possibilities, composite technologies, and mixed construction solutions, with critical consideration of reusability and reutilization, and cascading thinking in hybrid construction including cyclical thinking.
