We propose a terahertz-metamaterial-sensors design strategy to detect small amounts of dielectric materials. And we designed interdigitated electric split-ring resonators to significantly enhance the detection sensitivity. Additionally, we
demonstrate 2D RTD oscillator arrays with high-power high-frequency operation and pencil-like beam quality.
