Following the concept of 1 μm pulse burst pumped optical parametric chirped pulse amplifier (OPCPA), here we report on the experimental realization of a long-wave infrared (LWIR) non-collinearly pumped OPCPA (NOPCPA) based on zinc germanium phosphide (ZGP) crystals, pumped by multicolor pulses above 2 μm wavelength. The multicolor pulses are generated in a non-collinearly-seeded KTA-based near-infrared (NIR) OPCPA pumped by a Nd:YAG amplifier (AMP, Fig. 1) operating in burst mode.
