dc.description.abstract
We extend the geometric–dynamic decomposition from wave evolution to scattering, using the generalized Wigner–Smith operator, where the shifts in frequency, momentum, and position are splitted into dynamic and geometric parts. Examples include time-varying waveplates, metasurfaces, optical forces, beam shifts, andWigner delays, offering a unifying framework across wave physics
