dc.description.abstract
Women continue to be underrepresented in leadership positions compared to men. This article explores whether the shift towards remote working could provide an opportunity for women to take on more leadership roles. The requirements for remote leadership are discussed based on qualitative surveys and reflected upon in the light of gender equality. Although remote leadership requires a greater emphasis on social skills, which are traditionally attributed to women, it is important to move away from these gender stereotypes.
