Abstract:
Face recognition systems pose a important challenge in modern DSP design. In order to use real time face recognition for a large number of people (e.g. for big companies or surveillance on airports) the system has to be very fast. A face recognition system, using the discrete Fourier transform, was implemented in Verilog, showing the value of the DAG fusion approach in [6] for a complex application.
