dc.description.abstract

dc.description.abstract
The theme of the current diploma paper is the exploitation and recycling of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) with the help of the hot mix asphalt practice. The aim is to justify the use of the recycled material in highly loaded asphalt roads. To support the literature research laboratory tests on asphalt mixtures are summarized to test the performance of recycled additions in new asphalt layers. The investigations are carried out in the laboratory for road engineering of the Technical University of Vienna, as well as in institutions of Spain, USA, Italy, Belgium, Sweden and Germany.
