The rapid growth of technology meant an increase in the quality of life. In other hand with a rapid growth of technology there is a rapid growth of environmental problems. In 2018, approximately 50 million tons e-waste is generated Industries are too much commercially focused, they do not upgrade old product and then new apps are not supported in just few year-old products. And in this manner, they push costumer to buy new product. A few year-old electronic product lives became suddenly short. This brings to an explosion and rapid acceleration in producing e-waste and solid waste. Recycling can be difficult chore for consumers sometimes. Therefore, people avoid recycling of e-waste. Waste and problems that they bring such as environmental and ecological problems are currently one of the biggest problems of the modern world. One of the solutions is to raise the awareness among people about the consequences of their actions. In this paper a new approach of treating a mechatronic scrap is presented, one in which in same time an e-waste and education of new generations in order to change their behavior regarding mechatronic scrap. First step which should be taken is to use e-waste for educational purposes, for example as it was done in this paper to learn to build robots. In this thesis, a new approach of treating a mechatronic scrap will be presented, by building only few examples of autonomous mobile robots, we could make a starting point on how we can reuse mechatronic scrap, how we can start from individual level to contribute in reduction of scrap and implement a 4 R in practice. This process of recycling was used to combine theoretical part with a practical and to analyze all found parts, to design a kind of robot that could be building and after that to start building the robots! It is important to mention that there are many more projects realized but here only the autonomous mobile robots are presented. The main purpose of the theses should not be limited only in designing and constructing cost oriented autonomous mobile robots, within only one University. The proposal of this thesis is to try to implement the 4 R theories into practice within high schools and Technical Universities, and also there is possibility to organize workshop with a motto: Robot from Scrap, and to involve people with disabilities. As it is presented in chapters below, the most efficient way of treating of mechatronic scrap is by recycling it by building a robot with a different purpose to make a human life easier! If each high school and technical school in whole world, especially in a not developed countries and countries in developed process, implement a new approach of treating a mechatronic scrap, which will lead from scrap, to recycling, education, within this country. The notion that robots are a rich county sport and those poor countries should not even try to compete in this aspect of the economy. That is false and in this thesis have been demonstrated that robotics at least in academic setting does not have to be expensive or complicated, where in chapter four are presented developed several robots each with a price tag of less than 50 euros each. Scrap robots can be a good tool for inspiring young students of all ages and the concept can have an added benefit as it helps the environment. As robotics takes a more center stage in modern economic flows thoughts for a more self-sustainable approach to robotics industry have to be taken into account. Just because a robot is old or not fully functioning, it does not mean that it is useless and that some parts cannot be reused or that the older robot cant be refurbished and or reprogramed to do a new task and still be of use. The deeper intention of this thesis is to put out the notion that a new and more self- sustainable way for robot development is available and is needed as many experts predict that robotic industry will surpass the car manufacturers with resources consumption in next two decades. Different from car industry we have an opportunity not to make same mistakes and to plan ahead a closed self-sustainable recycling system. In a long run develop robots that can be more easily recycled and reused (multipurpose robots). In short term a need for robotics industry at least in developing countries to look into using available resources in order to manufacture industrial and service robots and in the same time reduce the e-scarp in the environment. Taking into consideration that developing countries and countries in development do not have enough funds to develop robotic, therefore recycling of mechatronic scrap, described in this paper, presents a new approach of treating a scrap to build robots, and this way to help developing a robotics! Best way to promote a development of robotics within these countries is through education of younger generation and by changing their access to mechatronic scrap. This part of involving students through education to play an important role in decrees of mechatronic scrap, to develop robotics within countries, do not have to be limited only in involving a student. There is possibility to develop workshop with a people with disabilities, where as a part of this workshop during recycling and developing simple robots with mechatronic scrap, can help many of them to find there propose and to give their contribution.
