dc.description.abstractCurrent trends in the market of Web-enabled devices are moving the focus from desktop web pages to pages optimised for a set of other devices like smartphones or tablets. Advanced User Behaviour Analysis tries to improve the effectiveness and usability of web pages in general and for specific user groups, using information that is gained from tracking users utilizing those mobile devices. The term points out the fact that new approaches are evaluated and used in order to achieve this goal. But the user behaviour data collected this way can also be used to adapt web pages and automatically transform pages and even the web applications logic flow into a new kind of representation, specifically for a certain target group.<br />Therefore a general process is defined to describe the various phases that have to be gone through to transform or repackage a website. It serves as the basis for the solutions, which were built as part of this thesis, and incorporates state of the art concepts and methods from various fields of Web Science. The implemented artefacts demonstrate how an appropriate architecture looks like and what additional possibilities open up. In the end the collected data about user behaviour is employed to optimise the transformation of the web pages by selecting only content which showed to be important to other users.en
