Titelübersetzung des Autors: Application of Adapted Dependence to Unit-Linked Life Insurance
-
dc.description.abstract

dc.description.abstract
This work is based in large part on selected results of the doctoral theses "Adapted Dependence with Applications to Financial and Actuarial Risk Management" of Dr. Karin Hirhager. Necessary concepts of financial mathematics are explained, such as the Doob decomposition, the binomial model of Cox-Ross-Rubinstein and the Black-Scholes formula. In unit-linked life insurance the financial and biometric risks are generally independent, the adapted dependence has in this sense a solution in which these risks can be dependent. The fund's development is based on the lognormal distribution. It shows how the adapted dependence can be applied in the study of fund development on a life insurance contract. The stopping time issue is very important in this case.
