Neuhof : Bestandsaufnahme, Analyse und Revitalisierung eines ehemaligen Jagd- und Forsthauses im nördlichen Waldviertel

Abstract

Ziel dieser Diplomarbeit ist es ein bestehendes Jagd- und Forsthaus im nördlichen Waldviertel, Bezirk Waidhofen an der Thaya, mit der Widmung erhaltenswertes Gebäude im Grünland, zu einem Gasthaus mit Gästezimmern umzubauen. Die Planung umfasst das Bestandsgebäude sowie das gesamte Grundstück mit Teich, einem neu errichteten Nebengebäude und Stallungen für Nutztiere. Der theoretische Teil der Arbeit befasst sich mit einem kurzen geschichtlichen Überblick der Entstehung des Gebäudes. Der praktische Teil befasst sich mit einer genauen Bestandsaufnahme, welche als Grundlage für den Entwurf dienen soll. Es soll ein Objekt entstehen, dass sich gut in seine Umgebung einfügt, ohne aufdringlich zu sein und respektvoll mit dem Altbestand umgeht. Um diese Ansprüche im Entwurf zu erfüllen, liegt der Fokus darauf, natürliche Materialien zu verwenden und auf dem Up- und Recycling der bereits vorhandenen Materialien. Gestalterische Aspekte wie Raum, Licht, Umgebungslandschaft, Material, Haptik, Akustik und funktionalistische Ansprüche sollen zu einer Gesamtkomposition vereinigt werden. Durch sanftes, aber auch zielbewusstes Eingreifen soll die bestehende Bausubstanz weiterentwickelt, verbessert, aber vor allem reaktiviert werden und so ein zeitgemäßes, realistisches Raumprogramm gefunden werden.

The goal of this diploma thesis is to convert an existing hunting- and forester s lodge in the northern “Woodquarter”, district Waidhofen an der Thaya, which is zoned as a meadow, into a restaurant and apartments. The planning process deals with the existing building as well as the property including the pond, a new built auxiliary building and a shed for farm animals. The theoretical part of the thesis provides a short historical review. The practical part attends to an accurate survey of the building, which is the foundation of the architectural design. The emerging project should adapt in its environment without being intrusive and deal with the existing structure in a respectful way. It is the primary focus of the design to fulfill these demands and furthermore use natural materials as well as up- or recycle building materials. Aspects like space, light, landscape, material, haptic, acoustic and functional demands should be incorporated in one artistic composition. Through gentle, but also purposeful interference the existing building will be refined, improved, but especially revitalized.
