Neues Museum für die Stadt Wien

Abstract

Diese Masterarbeit setzt sich mit dem Thema eines Neubaus für das Wien Museum am Morzinplatz auseinander. Zuerst werden die Stadt Wien und das Wien Museum präsentiert und die Aufgabe wird erklärt. Es folgt die Analyse des Standortes. Danach wird die aktuelle Museumsentwicklung geschildert, der Begriff "Stadtmuseum" wird näher erläutert und Referenzbeispiele werden gezeigt. Das Konzept des Entwurfs wird ausführlich mit Piktogrammen und Fotos erklärt. Nach den Projektsplänen folgen Modellfotos und Atmosphärenzeichnungen.<br />

This thesis deals with the issue of a new building for the Wien Museum at Morzinplatz. First, the city of Vienna and the Wien Museum are presented and the task is explained. After the analysis of the site, the current museum development is described, the term "city museum" is explained in detail and reference examples are shown. The concept of the project is explained in detail with pictograms and pictures. Model photos and drawings are following the project plans.
