Fischer, C. (2007).
It exists a multiplicity of models to determine the delay of pedestrians already, but most of them are based on the free vehicle flow, that is uniformly distributed. These models couldn´t be used for the urban traffic flow, because it insists in the free flow and the bunched vehicle flow. In this paper the interacting parameter e.g. vehicle speed, distribution of time gaps and individual influence were examined. Afterwards some pedestrian delay models, should be checked, particularly Tanner, Hunt and Williams and Guo, Dunne and Black, of their use at urban traffic flow. After the comparison with empirical data from vienna, one model, that is the most accurate and the best handling, should be advised for the determination of pedestrian delay at random points with urban traffic flow.
