Die vorliegende Arbeit "Virtuelle Rekonstruktion der Ottakringer Synagoge, Hubergasse 8" wurde grundsätzlich in drei Bereiche geteilt.<br />DAS GESCHICHTLICHE Im ersten Teil wird auf die Geschichte des Bezirkes und im Folgenden auch ihrer jüdischen Bevölkerung eingegangen. Besonders vorgehoben werden bedeutende jüdische Familien, die durch ihre Wohltätigkeit im Bezirk an Bedeutung gewannen. Menschen, die einen großen Bezug zum Hubertempel hatten und persönlich davon erzählen konnten, sind die Zeitzeugen, die in diesem Kapitel zu Wort kommen. Vor allem die grundbücherliche und bauliche Geschichte der Synagoge ist wichtiger Bestandteil dieses Teils der Arbeit.<br />DIE ARCHITEKTUR Im zweiten Teil wird die Architektur der Synagoge behandelt, sowie die Hintergründe der Stilwahl und die Gründerzeit als historischen Rahmen. Es werden auch vergleichbare Synagogen anderer Architekten herangezogen, die möglicherweise Einfluss auf den Entwurf des Hubertempels von Ludwig Tischler hatten. Der Architekt selbst ist auch Teil dieses Kapitels, sowie der Winterbetsaal von Ignaz Reiser.<br />Besondere Aufmerksamkeit erhielt hier die Frauengalerie, die im ursprünglichen Bau zu begrenzt ausgefallen war und wenige Jahre später erweitert wurde. Des weiteren wird allgemein die Rolle der Frau in der Synagoge und ihre Geschichte besprochen.<br />DIE REKONSTRUKTION Im dritten Teil werden die vorliegenden Planunterlagen besprochen, die vom Archiv des jüdischen Museums zur Verfügung gestellt wurden. Die Probleme bei der Rekonstruktion sind genauso Thema wie die Kompromisse, die daraus folgten.<br />Weiters werden die Ergebnisse der Rekonstruktion in Form von "Renderings" und 3D-Schaubildern gezeigt und eine Begründung für die Materialwahl gefunden. Die Struktur der Rekonstruktion wird schließlich in der Dokumentation der gewählten Geschoß- und Ebenenaufteilungen erklärt und eine Zusammenfassung der Datenmenge sowie des verwendeten Gerätes mit entsprechender Software beendet die Arbeit.<br />
