Hotel Hazna: Neues Gästewohnen in alter Umgebung in Bosnien Herzegowina

Abstract

In der Kleinstadt Gradačac im Norden von Bosnien und Herzegowina wurden in den 1970er Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts zwei Seen künstlich angelegt, um eine Wiederholung der Flut mit großen Schäden zu verhindern. Beide Seen, Vidara und Hazna, waren damals von großer Bedeutung für diese Stadt. Rund um die 2000er Jahre ist die Konstruktion des Hotels „Hazna“ neben dem See „Hazna“ entstanden und es wurden verschiedene Funktionen wie z. B. Restaurant, Fitnesszentrum, Discoclub, Unterkünfte, usw. für das Hotel vorgesehen und geplant, um das touristische Angebot dieses Ortes für die Touristen zu erheben. Die Pläne sind leider nicht ausgeführt und die Konstruktion des Hotels aus Ziegel und Stahlbeton steht noch immer leer und unbenutzt. Nach fast 25 Jahren wurde die Idee für seine Revitalisierung geboren. Meine Arbeit stellt sowohl die Unterstützung dieser Initiative als auch das Einbringen neuer Ideen dar, die nicht nur für dieses Hotel, sondern auch für meine Geburtsstadt, -region und -land von großer Bedeutung wären.

In the small town of Gradačac in northern Bosnia and Herzegovina, two lakes were artificially created in the 1970s to prevent a repeat of the flood with major damage. Both lakes, Vidara and Hazna, were of great importance to this city at that time.Around the 2000s, the construction of the hotel „Hazna“ was made near the lake „Hazna“ and various functions such as e.g. Restaurant, fitness center, disco club, accommodation, etc. for the hotel are designed and planned to raise the tourist offer of this place for the tourists. Unfortunately, the plans were not executed and the brick and reinforced concrete structure of the hotel is still empty and used.After almost 25 years, the idea for its revitalization was born. My work represents both supporting this initiative and bringing new ideas that would be of great importance not only to this hotel but also to my city, region and country of birth.
