Swing : Golfresort in Loipersdorf

Abstract

Die vorliegende Arbeit befasst sich mit dem Entwurf eines „Golfresorts“ für die Gemeinde Loipersdorf bei Fürstenfeld in der Südoststeiermark. Das Resort setzt sich aus einem Hauptgebäude und 48 Pavillons zusammen und liegt inmitten einer romantischen Landschaftskulisse, direkt auf dem bereits vorhandenen Golfplatz. Der Standort erlaubt es dem Besucher zu golfen, sich auf vielzähligen Wanderwegen auf die Natur einzulassen, in der unweit gelegenen Therme Loipersdorf der Badekultur nachzugehen und die Wein- und Esskultur der Region zu genießen. Ziel des Entwurfes ist es eine moderne und nachhaltige Architektur zu schaffen und diese in die Umgebung harmonisch einzubetten, wobei Ausblicke in die Naturlandschaft eine wesentliche gestalterische Rolle spielen. Das Thema Golf soll sich nicht nur im Angebot des Resorts sondern auch in der Architektur widerspiegeln. Hierfür wurden Formen aus dem Golfsport in eine Architektursprache transferiert. Bei den Pavillons unterscheidet man hinsichtlich ihrer Lage zwischen Wald-, Teich- und Wiesen- Pavillons. Durch die variierenden Standorte und 6 unterschiedlichen Pavillons-Typen ergeben sich für den Gast bei jedem Urlaubsbesuch neue Perspektiven. Die Positionierung erfolgte unter der Rücksichtnahme auf Himmelsrichtungen, Privatsphäre und eine optimale Aussicht. Mithilfe der auf dem Golfplatz verteilten Pavillons sollen die vom Alltag gestressten Besucher einen Rückzugsort erhalten, welcher ihnen Entschleunigung und Entspannung bietet. Ganz nach dem Motto: „Spielen, entspannen, und genießen“

The present work deals with the design of a „Golf Resort“ for the municipality of Loipersdorf near Fürstenfeld in southeastern Styria. The resort consists of a main building and 48 pavilions and is located in the middle of a romantic landscape, directly on the already existing golf course. The location allows the visitor to golf, to get involved in numerous hiking trails on nature, to follow the bathing culture in the nearby thermal spring Loipersdorf and to enjoy the wine and food culture of the region. The aim of the design is to create a modern and sustainable architecture and to embed it harmoniously in the environment, whereby views of the natural landscape play an essential creative role. The subject of golf should not only be reflected in the resorts offer but also in the architecture. For this purpose, forms from golf were transferred into an architectural language. The pavilions differ in terms of their location between forest, pond and meadow pavilion. Due to the varying locations and 6 different types of pavilions, new perspectives arise for the guest each time they visit the Golf Resort. The positioning took place with consideration for directions, privacy and an optimal view. The pavilions spread out on the golf course are designed to give those who are stressed out by their daily routine a retreat that will help them to slow down and relax.
