BIM im Infrastrukturbau : Baubetriebliche Modellierung

Abstract

Die Digitalisierung hat auch das Bauwesen erreicht, und ist im Begriff die konventionellen Prozesse entlang der Wertschöpfungskette von Bauwerken zu revolutionieren. In den letzten Jahren hat sich eine neue digitale Arbeitsweise das Building Information Modeling (BIM) etabliert. Dabei handelt es sich um eine kooperative Arbeitsmethodik zur softwareunterstützten Erstellung und Verwaltung eines umfassenden dreidimensionalen digitalen Bauwerkmodells. Das Modell wird neben seiner Geometrie um alphanumerische Informationen ergänzt, die für seinen gesamten Lebenszyklus von Relevanz sind. Während die Verbreitung von BIM im Hochbau bereits weit vorangeschritten ist, steht die Entwicklung der Methode im Infrastrukturbereich in Österreich noch in ihren Anfangsschuhen. Dies ist nicht zuletzt darauf zurückzuführen, dass die entsprechenden Standards und Softwarelösungen in diesem Bereich noch nicht so weit entwickelt sind, wie es im Hochbau der Fall ist. Um diese weiterentwickeln zu können ist es notwendig Erfahrungen über eine Reihe von Projekten zu sammeln. In der vorliegenden Arbeit sind zunächst die normativen und formellen Grundlagen für die Abwicklung eines Tiefbauprojektes mit BIM aufgezeigt. Dabei werden die Prozesse in der konventionellen Trassenplanung erläutert, um die Unterschiede und Mehrwerte der BIM-Methode besser aufzeigen zu können. Weiters wurde im Zuge eines laufenden Forschungsprojektes mit der Firma ASFINAG eine digitale Modellierung für einen Teilbereich der Anschlussstelle Hirschstetten erstellt. Die generierten Modelle umfassen die Fachdisziplinen Erd-, Straßen- und Ingenieurbau. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf der Überprüfung der Anwendbarkeit der Auftraggeber-Informationsanforderungen, vorhandener Datenstrukturen sowie der Industry Foundation Classes im Tiefbau. Insbesondere wird genauer auf die notwendigen Rollen, die Kompetenzen, die die Fachplaner mitbringen müssen, und die Organisation der Projektbeteiligten für die Abwicklung eines solchen interdisziplinären Infrastrukturprojektes mit BIM eingegangen. Überdies sind in den fortführenden Abschnitten die gängigen Methoden zur digitalen modellbasierten Mengenermittlung, Modellkoordination und automatisierten Planableitung beschrieben. Abschließend wird ein Ausblick auf weitere Forschungsthemen gegeben, die zukünftig für das Thema von Interesse sein können. Die geänderten Anforderungen, die sich durch die zunehmende Digitalisierung im Bauwesen ergeben, betreffen alle am Projekt beteiligten gleichermaßen. Um die Durchsetzung dieser Methode gewährleisten zu können ist ein Umdenken aller am Bauprozess Beteiligten von Nöten.

The digitalisation has reached the construction industry and is about to revolutionize the conventional processes along the value chain of buildings. In the last few years, a new digital workflow called Building Information Modeling (BIM) has received more and more attention. BIM is a cooperative working methodology for software-assisted creation and management of a comprehensive three-dimensional digital building model. The geometry of the model is extended by alphanumeric information relevant for its entire lifecycle. Whilst the use of BIM in building construction is already well advanced, the development of the method in civil engineering in Austria is still in early stages. This is due to the fact, that the corresponding standards and software solutions in this area have not yet been developed as far as it is the case in building construction. In order to help develop them further it is necessary to gain experience by working on and evaluating several projects. This thesis points out the normative and formal foundations for the execution of a civil engineering project with BIM. To show the differences between the two methods, the processes in conventional route planning are compared to those of the BIM method. Furthermore, a digital three-dimensional model was created for parts of a motorway junction project in the course of an ongoing research project with ASFINAG. The generated models include the disciplines earthworks, road construction and construction engineering. The primary focus in this part of the thesis is on the evaluation of the applicability of the Employers Information Requirements, existing data structures and the Industry Foundation Classes in civil engineering. Additionally, the necessary roles, the required competences of planners and the organization of the project participants for such an interdisciplinary infrastructure project are examined in more detail. In the following sections, the common methods for model-based quantity take-offs, model coordination and automatic plan generations are described. In the end different options on further research topics that may be of interest in the future are discussed. The work in this paper shows that the changed requirements resulting from the increasing digitalisation in construction industry affect everyone involved in the construction process equally and, therefore, a reorientation process must take place.
