This work presents methods, which make it possible to graphically display the structure and main statements of macroeconomic models. This is achieved by converting the models, which are to be displayed, into their most elementary form - a relation system of economic variables - which makes it possible to analyze a number of differently structured models, like equation systems, simulation-programs, artificial life models, that is, all models, whose structure is to some degree determined at the time of conducting a forecast, which means that all variables that are part of a certain relation, which has to be true for all relations of the model, are known before starting a simulation run. The connections of the model's relation-system are then weighted by calculating simulation runs of the model - either produced by an external simulation program, or by solving an equation system using TSP - after which these structure and weight data can be displayed using a newly developed interactive computer program. To support this analysis at different aggregation levels and to create the possibility to answer different questions about the model, four different kinds of graphs were developed, which enable the user to conduct an integrated multi-level analysis of the whole model. Thus visual evaluation of the structures and statements of a macroeconomic model gets possible, which brings with it all the cognitive advantages of visual perception (spontaneous perception and selection, increased cognitive potential), which results in a reduction of the model's complexity. Thus a model's mathematically modelled key statements can be evaluated at a glance (independent of possibly manipulative descriptions or other manually created textual interpretations). This, for example, makes an instantaneous evaluation of the effectiveness and usablityusability of possible macroeconomic instruments possible - solely by analysis of facts, thatwhich are are the results, that that were actually produced by the model's simulation actually produced. runs. This program was originally developed to provide means to compare the structures of different models, but also for didactic purposes, that is - to support the comprehension of macroeconomic models, especially for decision makers who are insufficiently trained in economics, or students of all kinds. An additional purpose it to provide developers of macroeconomic models with means to check whether the originally intended theories are indeed reflected by the model's mathematically produced statements.
