Das Projekt des Multifunktionsmuseums für Odessa wird Sammlungen der Stadtmuseen präsentieren, die bisher in Archiven aufbewahrt werden und den Besuchern die Möglichkeit geben, nationale und moderne Kunstausstellungen zu erleben. Kultur-, Bildungs- und Freizeitaktivitäten werden innerhalb der architektonischen Struktur mit ihren offenen Bauelementen stattfinden, die dem Besucher zusätzlich Gelegenheit bieten, die Anatomie des Gebäudes zu betrachten. Das Museumszentrum befindet sich am Meer, an der Grenze zwischen dem Schevtschenko-Park, dem vernachlässigten Industriegebiet des Hafens von Odessa und dem sich entwickelnden Freizeitgebiet mit Hotels und Restaurants. Das fertiggestellte Projekt wird mehr Touristen in dieses Viertel einladen und die Gebäudestruktur, die der umgebenden Landschaft nachempfunden ist, wird harmonisch zum Stadtensemble passen.

The Project of Multifunctional Museum for Odessa will present collections of the city museums that are currently stored in archives, as well as enable visitors to experience national and modern art exhibitions. Cultural, educational and leisure activities will take place inside of the architectural structure with opened construction elements that will provide additional opportunity for visitor to enjoy the building‘s anatomy. The Museum Center is situated at the seaside, at the border between Schevtschenko Park, the neglected industrial zone of Odessa Port and the developing leisure area with hotels and restaurants. The accomplished project will invite more tourists to this district and the building structure that harmonically fits into the surrounding landscape will complement the city ensemble.
