In our present work, we reassessed the multicomponent thermodynamic database mc_fe with the focus on low temperature part, with the goal to use it in thermos-kinetic simulation for bainite transformation. While it was clear that some alloys systems such as Ni, Mn and Cr in combination of Fe needed to be revised due a lack of consistency of the magnetic contribution and thus affecting the Gibbs energy of the low temperature with consequences on erroneous calculation of the T0 for austenite and ferrite, we found that the C-trend was not following the experimental data. Thus, the Fe-C thermodynamic modeling was assessed carefully and the solubility of C in Fe ferrite was increased in order to obtain the correct trend for the T0 calculation in multicomponent systems and by extrapolation with the Bs using a strain energy of 400 J.mol-1. The calculations of Bs compared to experiments will be further developed in the contribution of E. Kozeschnik.
