This paper is basically about designing a vivid architecture project. In this case the project is an exhibition pavillion on the top of the Tiroler Landesmuseum Ferdinandeum in Innsbruck, Tirol. The pavillion is a grid shell structure and the paper shows the form- nding and designing process. But rst the paper examines some basics, like the history of gridshells and examples for gridshell constructions. The next part is about the used materials for gridshell constructions. Before the vivid architecture project is described the paper also mentions the computational gridshell form- nding tools.
