In the past 5 years the attitude to energy policy and energy environmental considerations has been changed. Several incidents, such as the catastrophic event in Fukushima, lead to an atomic exit strategy and getting back to safe fossil energy production, especially in Europe. The exit of atomic energy production and the demand for new fossil power plants will require new product development for small power plants covering electric demands in a short period of time as well as for large fossil power plants requiring long life time and reduced maintenance effort. This opened new opportunities to enter the market in different regions for CCI fossil products and components. Political decisions, especially taken in Germany give a huge possibility to enter the energy sector with CCI fossil components. For this new situation this thesis shall cover a business and marketing strategy including a competitor analysis for CCI products produced in Switzerland to enter the German market. The theoretical approach and the drivers for these strategies are described and the result is evaluated and displayed using specific marketing tools. The conclusion shall indicate the strategy to management to enter the German market with CCI products.
