Abstract:
Die Arbeit ist ein Entwurf einer Hotelanlage in St. Margarethen im Burgenland, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Römersteinbruch.<br />Dieser über tausende von Jahren gut frequentierte Ort soll durch die Nutzungsvielfalt des Projektes sowohl an Attraktivität für Besucher als auch für die einheimische Bevölkerung gewinnen. Der Fokus liegt auf dem Entwurf, dem einleitend eine Beschreibung des Ortes und dessen unmittelbarer Umgebung vorliegen. Ergänzend folgen Angaben zum Entwurfskonzept sowie der Materialität, die essentiell für den Entwurf in diesem Kontext war. Abschließend erfolgt die Darstellung der Pläne und Schaubilder sowie Modellfotos. Die Qualität des Objektes besteht nicht darin, ständig Aufmerksamkeit zu erfordern. -Ein Resultat aus der Unterlassung der Nebensächlichkeit und somit die Konzentration des Augenblickes, in dem jedes Detail, jede Komponente auf das Wesentliche reduziert wurde.<br />

The Hotel in St. Margarethen, is near the Römersteinbruch. This region has a lot of visitors, unfortunately most of them during the summer months. This is the reason for the different functions. - On the one hand, it will be attractive for guest who leave at the nearer region, on the other hand it will be nice for people who stay there for their holidays. The work consist of the concept of the project, with plans, sections and views of the building. Furthermore the description of the region - the northern Burgenland, and the surrounding area of St. Margarethen and Rust. The quality of the object is the result of essential components and therefore the elimination of irrelevancies.
