Das Hausfeld neu : Städtebau und Wohnbau anhand des Hausfeldes im Norden Wiens

Abstract

Stadtentwicklung auf der grünen Wiese" stellt die Architektur vor die Aufgabe programmatische Antworten auf die drängenden Fragen der Zeit zu finden. Welche Gestalt hat eine zeitgenössische Stadt? Wie wohnt man in ihr? Wie sieht das Verhältnis zwischen privat und öffentlich aus? Zwischen extrovertierten und introvertierten Räumen? Welche Funktion hat der öffentliche Raum? Wie läßt es sich im Erdgeschoss wohnen? In der vorliegenden Arbeit, werden Antworten auf diese und andere Fragen gesucht. Anhand eines aktuellen Stadterweiterungsgebietes im Norden Wiens. ,,Das Hausfeld" befindet sich eine U-Bahnstation vor der Seestadt Aspern und soll damit auch Alternativen zu aktuellen Entwicklungen im Städtebau Wiens aufzeigen. Die Arbeit entwickelt ein neues städtebauliches Konzept für das Areal, anhand der Vorgaben der Stadt Wien. Ein Teilareal wird dabei in einem 11Wohnbau Maßstab" herausgearbeit. Gezeigt werden dabei, abgesehen von den Antworten auf oben gestellte Fragen, die Verflechtungen von Städtebau, Wohnbau, Freiraumplanung und die Integration sozialer Notwendigkeiten unser Zeit.

Urban developments in areas without significant structures, throws architecture back to primary questions. Questions of our time. What is the shape of a contemporary city? How do we live in this city? What is the relationship between private and public, between introverted and extroverted spaces? What is the function of the public space? How do we want to live on the ground floor? The following project tries to find answers to those, and other questions, developing a site in the North ofVienna called „Hausfeld". The next Underground station is 11Seestadt", which implies a comparison between these two new areas of the city and opens up alternatives to it. The following design is based on the requirements of the city of Vienna. A part of the area will be detailed on a residential scale. lt is shown how urban spaces, living spaces, outdoor spaces and social issues are interwoven into a coherent urban and social structure.
