Bronhagl, M. (2012). Noninvasive tear film measurement of the human eye using optical coherence tomography [Diploma Thesis, Technische Universität Wien]. reposiTUm. http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12708/160340
This master thesis arose interdisciplinarily between the `Institute of Applied Physics' and the `Center for Medics and Biomedical Engineering'. Within the frame of this work, tomograms of the anterior eye were evaluated. The evaluation software was programmed with National Instrument's LabView. As means of making the tomograms, optical coherence tomography was used. The fields of interests were the temporal dynamics, as well as the static behavior of the tear film. Furthermore, the impact of artificial tears (placebo or non-placebo) of borderline dry eye syndrome patients was determined. The tear film measurements are done with two different measurement systems.
