Modellierung und Simulation einer Adsorptionskältemaschine

Abstract

Der steigende Bedarf an Kühlenergie in den heißen Sommermonaten verlangt nach Lösungen, die möglichst umweltschonend realisiert werden können. Die Erzeugung von Klimakälte mit einer Adsorptionskältemaschine stellt eine Möglichkeit dar, da als Antriebsenergie für diese Technik Wärme notwendig ist. Einerseits kann industrielle Abwärme verwendet werden.<br />Andererseits kann die im Sommer ausreichend zur Verfügung stehende Sonnenenergie für Klimatisierungszwecke genutzt werden.<br />In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird eine Prozessmodellierung des Adsorptionskälteprozesses entwickelt, um anhand dieser über Optimierungsmöglichkeiten und Regelstrategien entscheiden zu können.<br />Zusätzlich soll das erarbeitete Modell auch zum besseren Verständnis der ablaufenden Prozesse und zur Entwicklung kostengünstiger Maschinen beitragen.<br />Um dies zu erreichen, wurden zwei Modelle entwickelt, die die Adsorptions- als auch die Desorptionsphase beschreiben. Durch Vergleiche mit Messungen an einem Prototyp einer Adsorptionskältemaschine wurden die Modelle an die Realität angepasst.<br />

Due to an increasing demand for cooling energy in hot summer months there is an immediate need to find solutions that can be realised in an economical and environmentally sound way. The generation of ambient cooling using an adsorption chiller is one way, because heat is needed to run the process. On the one hand industrial waste heat might be used. On the other hand solar energy can be used for cooling purposes.<br />The objective of this study is to develop a model, that describes the process of an adsorption chiller. On the basis of the model optimization and control strategies can be decided. Additionally it shall help to give better insight into the processes that are involved, and therefore lead to cost-effective machines.<br />To achieve this two models were developed that describe the adsorption- as well as the desorption-phase of the adsorption chiller. To adapt the models to reality the output was compared with measurements of a prototype.
